THE WINNER!!!
Christmas Recycling.

As you know, here in the burrow we take recycling very seriously.  Worried about us getting distracted during the festive season, our newly appointed Eco Chief Alex has been making sure we remain environmentally friendly this Christmas.  In a bid to recycle and re-use, he has come up with a ‘Recyclable Xmas Decoration Competition’.  The rules are as follows: make a Christmas decoration out of recyclable material!

Since the competition began a few weeks ago there has been decoration mania in the burrow.  We have even got our friendly office neighbours involved to heat up the contest!  Deadline for the competition is the 17th December so watch this space to keep up-to-date with how it all evolves...We will be updating the photos as the weeks go on.

In the meantime, you can join in on the fun. Why don’t you make a recyclable decoration at home and email us a picture of your creation to: peter@prorganics.com (Please don’t send us your decoration...we want you to be able to enjoy it at home!)

The tree arrives!

The countdown begins....

15 DAYS TO GO:  The Christmas tree arrived today ready to be adorned and surrounded by recyclable decorations. Katharine was found making the final touches to her 'Snow Couple' masterpiece.  I think Lars might have some competition...watch out!!

Mr and Mrs Snowman, by Katharine

11 DAYS TO GO...

More decorations were completed over the weekend, including Katharine’s ‘Snow Couple’ (see right).  The Burrow itself is looking increasingly more festive.  When dusk arrives and the lights are turned on we will update a photo onto the website...

Thanks to our neighbours, a huge Christmas tree has arrived outside our office.  The Christmas spirit is obviously rubbing off on them...We hope you can make out the tree amid all the bright lights!

Oh what a lovely Christmas tree..
Nina's 'abstract' decoration

10 DAYS TO GO...

Deck the halls with boughs of holly...Fa la la la la, la la la la..Tis the season to be jolly...and a little bit abstract in Nina's case. We're not quite sure what her decoration is, but we like it all the same. It would have been boring if everyone had made recyclable snowmen!!

The tree in full decoration

7 DAYS TO GO...

Since the competition began decorations have slowly been added to the tree downstairs.  We aim to have it covered from tip to toe (which may be a little ambitious!) with recycled decorations by next week.  Look on the left to see close-ups of some of the recent additions.  And don't forget that we would love to see your Christmas creation.  Please email us your pictures to peter@prorganics.com

The 3 Kings...

1 DAY TO GO!!!!

WE 3 KINGS OF ORIENT ARE....Ben has created 3 fantastic recyclable Christmas Kings out of Peter Rabbit pouches, just in time for our eagerly anticipated judging tomorrow.   We have also uploaded a better picture of Katharine’s ‘Mr and Mrs Snowman’ as the last picture didn’t really do them justice!!
